Nicole Allen
Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

The first scholarship was award in the 2012 to Gregg Noonan.  Gregg is going to college at Rockhurst college and has been named the photo editor of the college newspaper.  Gregg was a senior at DeSmet High School and has plans of becoming a photography teacher after finishing college.  CONGRATULATIONS, Gregg.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Nicole Allen who was born in Missouri on January 06, 1986 and passed away on April 21, 2007 at the age of 21. We will remember her forever.  Nicole was always busy doing something: working on a project (even as a child); meeting up with friends; attending concerts; going to family functions; participating at sporting events; or taking pictures.  Many of us wondered why she was rushing through life, but we now know she had a lot to accomplish in twenty-one years.  This memorial keeps Nicole's spirit and memory alive with shared stories.  Each story and picture keeps that spirit alive.  This is a tribute to Nicole Elizabeth Allen and to all of us who had the pleasure to be part of the "GOOD TIMES!!"

Nicole began as a child constantly working on projects, making gifts for family & friends.  In grade school she began playing softball continuing to play in high school and with the "THE DIERBERGS CREW."  In grade school she played the violin, chello, flute, keyboards/piano, and later in life became a master of Guitar Hero.  She joined the St. Louis Flute Society where she particiapated for several years.  She began playing the flute in band, was on the flag corps, was a hockey cheerleader, participated in the building of her class floats, and was one of the recipients of Walgreens and the St. Louis College Of Pharmacy's summer scholarship program.

At fifteen Nicole wanted a job to make money so she could pay for her own cell phone.  Her first job was at "The Dierbergs," as a bagger.  After only 6 months as a bagger Nicole was promoted to the bakery.  Once in the bakery Nicole recieved promotions to a trainer and was also asked to assist in the floral department.  She kept her grades up through out this process.  She loved the co-workers and friends at "The Dierbergs," particiapating each Halloween dressing up in costumes.  She became close with a group who went on float trips each year and played softball in a league of Dierbergs stores across St. Louis.

When Nicole was eighteen she began to work a second job at Harrah's Vodoo Lounge as a hostess.  Then in 2006 she started working at Red Robin as a waitress.  She put in her notice at Dierbergs to work full time at Red Robin in 2007.  She passed one portion of the bartending test the night of her accident.

We would like to thank Nicole, her family, friends, co-workers, classmates, and those others who's life she touched.  We ask that you keep her spirit alive with sharing your stories, pictures, and memories.

Her legacy
The Nicole Allen Memorial Foundation

The Nicole Allen Memorial Foundation was established on April 21st, 2007. Nicole had spoke of flowers being beautiful but they don't last and she'd like to see that money go to something special.  In talking with her friends, co-workers, classmates, and family the obvious place to start would be towards a PHOTOGRAPHY SCHOLARSHIP at the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL).  This foundation is currently working on its' 501C3 status with the IRS to become tax exempt and getting our listing as a charitiable organization in the State Of Missouri.

Update 07/30/09: The Foundation has been approved by the IRS for 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. We can now hold fundraisers for the foundation and are planning three events: A Trivia Night to held this fall, a MONOPOLY game tournament to held early in 2010, and the Sports Memorabilia Auction/Dinner to held in the spring of 2010. As soon as we have dates & locations finalized we will post it. If you would like to help out with any of these fundraisers by volunteering or with contacts for corporate donations, please contact Denise or Brian. 314-432-0624 or
